Nor-Natur ApS is a Danish company, established in 1995 as a part of Nor-Group. The company’s mission is to develop, manufacture and internationally market natural and environment-friendly products, which are capable of replacing synthetic products within horticulture, agriculture as well as silviculture.
Plant cultivation
Nor-Natur’s products within plant cultivation are based on natural elements, which all contain soil improving and surfactant capabilities. The products all have high contents of saponins, which are a chemical group of substances with significant surfactant capabilities. These help improve the physical, chemical and biological condition of the soil and/or substrate. As a consequence, plants are more likely to absorb and exploit the water, nutrients or other additives available. The surfactant properties can moreover be used to decrese the risk of contamination in the recirculating irrigation systems of for example nurseries.
Environmental protection
Nor-Natur’s products within environmental protection are based on citrus, clay minerals and saponin rich plant extracts such as quillaja, quinoa, fenugreek, liquorice and yucca. These raw materials provide the products with properties of binding ammonia and other toxic nitrogenous and sulphide gases, as well as absorbing gases, moisture and oils. Moreover, clay minerals can be used for air purification.
